Welcome to the 1st edition of the Laguna de Baile Rising DJ Challenge!

We’re excited to present the very first edition of the Laguna de BaileRising DJ Challenge – a special event where we give Bachata DJs who haven’t yet played at Laguna de Baile the opportunity to showcase their music and talent. At the end of the event, you will decide who impressed you the most!

We welcome both new and more experienced DJs. This year’s participants are:

DJ CEKI – Marko Celjak (HR)
DJ LUKA – Luka Djorovič (SLO)
DJ BASHI – Blaž Nemec (SLO)
DJ ZVERINSKO – David Zver (SLO)
DJ GOOFY – Boštjan Zupančič (SLO)

Our opening and closing sets will be played by DJ SAM G, who will also provide technical support throughout the challenge.

From 4 August until 9 August at 11:59 PM, Facebook voting will be open. Support your favourite DJ and help them earn the best time slot for the event!

At the end of the event, the audience will vote anonymously using their mobile phones, and together we’ll crown the very first Laguna de Baile Rising DJ Challenge Winner.

This isn’t just a DJ Challenge – it’s a celebration of our Bachata community.

Join us for a day of dancing, sunshine, swimming, and great music while supporting the next generation of Bachata DJs.

Come dance, discover new talents, cheer them on, and help us encourage passionate DJs as they take the next step in their journey. Every set and every dance is a way to support someone who’s brave enough to step behind the DJ booth.
